Volunteer With Witham Wombles

Litter. We’re fed up with it too. Maybe it lines your street, blows into your garden or spoils your favourite picnic spot. Residents of Witham are lucky to have access to so much green space, but much of it is tainted with rubbish. You can help tidy up our town by joining Witham Wombles.

We are always looking for more volunteers and anyone is welcome to join us on our litter picks. Please wear stout footwear and check the weather forecast – you might need a coat! Equipment including pickers, bags, gloves and high vis vests are provided at all litter picks. There is even child-friendly equipment too, so your little ones can get involved and learn more about social responsibility. Volunteering with us is great for getting you outdoors, and it looks good on your CV too.
